One of our prestigious clients inKingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking tohire a CAD DivisionHead .

KeyAccountabilities:

• Selectionand deployment of engineering software tools for successfulprojects to ensure their effective and efficientutilization.
• Preparation of engineeringsoftware and hardware lists and comparisontables.
• Management of CAD division resourcesaccording to project requirements.
• Preparationof CAD and other software strategies for the Engineeringdepartment.
• Responsibility for ERP and CADsystem interfaces.
• Establishment of a trainingplan and ensuring CAD and software training is conducted for theEngineering department.
• Management of the CADlibrary CAD Catalogues &Specifications.
• Oversight of the development ofprocess maps rules procedures practices and guidelines for the CADdivision.
• Ensuring the quality and accuracy ofCAD design drawings/formats for alldisciplines.
• Ensuring all soft files aresystematically stored and backed up in drives as per the ITdepartments policies andprocedures.
• Establishment and enforcement ofengineering standard drawings.
• Support in Bids& Estimation.
• Contribution to theprofessional development of employees by providing training andmentoring.
• Ensuring compliance with HSEpolicies and procedures as applicable.
• Ensuringcompliance with all applicable information security policies&procedures.

Whowe are lookingfor:

• Bachelors degreein engineering or equivalent.
• At least 915years of experience in any engineering company leading CAD teamsfor newbuild marine/offshore or similar projects. Preference willbe given to those who have worked in ship and rig building yardsmajor construction yards EPC contractors and/or ConsultantCompanies using AVEVA 3D modelingsoftware.
• Preferred Any additionalcertification/training on 3D CAD tools and systemadministration.
• Extensive knowledge inmultidiscipline design and drafting (CAD) activities for rigbuilding/shipbuilding/offshore/onshoreprojects.
• Proficient in 2D & 3D CADsoftware systems such as AutoCAD AVEVA E3D AVEVAMarine.
• Proven experience in leading CADteams.
• Ability to check and identifydiscrepancies.
• Knowledge of ERP and itsinterfacing with CAD systems.
• Excellentcommunication skills: interpersonal listening oral andwritten.
• Demonstrated highorder interpersonalskills and the ability to operate within a multinationalenvironment.
• Demonstrated ability to influenceand motivate others regarding continuousimprovement.
• Proficiency in English (mandatory)Arabic or other languages(desirable).
