Description

• Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes, mills, and other related equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers and production personnel to select the appropriate tools, materials, and cutting speeds for each job.
• Write and modify CNC programs using Gcode and other programming languages to accurately execute machining operations.
• Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process to ensure proper operation and adherence to quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, such as cleaning, tool changes, and replacing worn or damaged components.
• Conduct thorough inspections of finished parts to verify conformance to specifications and make necessary adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process, such as tool wear, programming errors, or machine malfunctions.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following company policies and procedures regarding safety guidelines and equipment operation.
• Keep accurate records of production activities, including materials used, machine settings, and production output.
• Continuously monitor and optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by sharing insights and suggestions for enhancing production techniques and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages, particularly Gcode.
• Familiarity with various CNC machinery and equipment, including setup and operation.
• Solid understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machining operations.
• Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
• Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
