Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laravel Lead Developer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with a focus on the Laravel framework.

As a lead developer, you will be responsible for guiding our development team through the entire software development life cycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the development of high-quality web applications using Laravel, ensuring code is maintainable , scalable, and follows industry standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and ensure project success.

- Maintain and enhance existing applications, improving functionality and resolving any issues that arise.

- Implement performance optimization techniques to ensure fast response times and efficient database interactions.

- Design and maintain databases with a focus on MySQL and MongoDB, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.

Work with the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) to develop and deploy applications.

- Utilize basic Linux commands for server management and deployment tasks.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for integration with various services and applications.

- Employ Docker for containerization and to streamline development and deployment processes.

- Integrate and manage Redis for caching and session storage to enhance application performance.

- Conduct database optimization tasks to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and introduce them as appropriate to keep our applications modern and :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

More than 5 years of professional experience in web development, with a strong emphasis on the Laravel framework.

- Proficient in PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, and the LAMP stack.

- Solid understanding of basic Linux commands and server management.

- Experience with REST API development and integration.

- Familiarity with Docker and containerization principles.

Knowledge of Redis and its use in performance enhancement.

- Proven track record of performance optimization and database optimization in web applications.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.

- Strong leadership qualities and experience managing a team of developers.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Specific Requirements :

- Must be available to work full-time in our office location.

- Proven experience leading a development team in a professional setting.

- Portfolio of past projects that demonstrates expertise in web development and team leadership.
