    Description

    Job Title: GIS Technical Architect

    Location : Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune.

    Years of experience- 8+ years

    NP- Immediate

    Job Description:

    We are looking for a skilled Telco GIS Technical Architect with mandatory experience in GIS tool IQGEO to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Network Engineering Management software and Telco OSS stack. Previous experience with alternative GIS tools like ESRI or GE smallworld is also desirable.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Architectural Design: Design and implement GIS solutions tailored to the telecommunications industry, leveraging IQGEO and other relevant GIS tools.

    2. System Integration: Integrate GIS solutions seamlessly with Network Engineering Management software and Telco OSS stack, ensuring smooth data exchange and interoperability.

    3. Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical authority on GIS technologies, providing guidance and recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders.

    4. Solution Implementation: Lead the implementation and deployment of GIS solutions, overseeing configuration, customization, and testing activities.

    5. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, network engineers, and data analysts, to ensure alignment and coherence in GIS implementations.

    6. Documentation: Document architectural designs, implementation plans, and technical specifications for GIS solutions, ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders.

    7. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users and technical staff on the utilization and maintenance of GIS systems and tools.

    8. Performance Optimization: Identify opportunities for performance optimization and scalability enhancement within GIS solutions, implementing best practices and optimizations where applicable.

    9. Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations governing GIS data management and security, implementing appropriate measures to safeguard sensitive information.

    10. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with GIS tool vendors, evaluating new releases and updates, and coordinating upgrades and patches as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.

    Proven experience as a GIS Technical Architect in the telecommunications industry.

    Mandatory experience with GIS tool IQGEO.

    Working experience in Network Engineering Management software and Telco OSS stack.

    Previous experience with alternative GIS tools like ESRI or GE smallworld is desirable.

    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

    Relevant certifications in GIS technologies (e.g., IQGEO Certified Administrator) are a plus.

    Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to GIS data management and security.
