    About Client

    A leading NBFC Sector

    Key Responsibilities:

    Branch Compliance:

    Oversee legal compliance at all branches of the organization, ensuring adherence to NBFC regulations.

    Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance at the branch level.

    Regulatory Liaison:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies related to branch operations.
    • Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting branch activities and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

    Legal Support:

    • Provide legal guidance and support to branch operations, including but not limited to customer interactions, loan transactions, and other financial activities.
    • Review and draft legal documents related to branch activities.

    Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess legal risks associated with branch operations and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
    • Work collaboratively with risk management and compliance teams to ensure a comprehensive risk mitigation approach.

    Dispute Resolution:

    • Handle and resolve legal disputes arising at the branch level, including negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods.
    • Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.

    Training and Awareness:

    • Conduct training sessions for branch staff on legal compliance and risk management.
    • Foster a culture of legal awareness and compliance within the organization.

    Qualifications:

    • Law degree from a recognized institution.
    • Bar admission and in-depth knowledge of banking and financial regulations.
