About the Company:
Established in 1964, it's a manufacturers and suppliers of mild steel drums and barrels.

Types of drums it produces such as - Lightweight drums, Epoxy coated drums and Open mouth drums or as per customer demands used for storage and transportation requirements for items such as - petroleum products, lubricating oils, chemicals & pharmaceutical products.

Experience Level: 2 years

Salary:
Up to 25000 INR per month

Responsibilities:

Vendor Management:

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential suppliers.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely and costeffective procurement.

Purchase Planning:

Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet production requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with various departments to forecast future demands.

Cost Negotiation:

Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
Analyze and compare supplier proposals to make informed purchasing decisions.

Quality Assurance:

Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that purchased products meet the required standards.
Conduct regular supplier audits to assess performance and compliance.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and uptodate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information.
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.

Market Research:

Stay informed about market trends, new products, and potential suppliers.
Conduct market research to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Purchase Executive in a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
