Description

• Develop embedded firmware for PMSM/BLDC motor control solutions.
• Implement and optimise motor control algorithms including FOC control, current control, torque control, speed and position control, modulation techniques, space vector modulation, SinPWM, etc.
• Utilize MATLAB Simulink and Embedded Coder for system modelling and code generation.
• Utilize C/C++ language to interface with hardware peripherals and communication protocols (ADC, Timer, DAC, PWM, GPIO, SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, USB) on platforms such as NXP, TI, Microchip, Renesas, etc.
• Design and implement control algorithms through MATLAB simulation and conduct system diagnostics/prognostics.
• Test firmware on development boards using digital communication tools, debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers in a laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with hardware teams for prototype development and testing.
• Design electronic circuits using components such as resistors, capacitors, MOSFETs, opamps, TL431, transistors, etc.
• Work on PCB design and schematic drawings using KiCAD, Altium, or similar software.
• Document coding and validation processes.
• Prepare technical documents for motor/controllers and assist in selecting the appropriate motor based on power/torque curves.
• Integrate motor and motor controller at a vehicle level to ensure compliance with performance requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in embedded C programming and microcontroller systems.
• Handson experience with motor control algorithms and MATLAB Simulink.
• Experience with hardware platforms such as NXP, TI, Microchip, Renesas, etc.
• Strong debugging and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within crossfunctional team
