    Job Title: HTDG Operator(High Tension Diesel GeneratorOperator)

    Department:Operations /Maintenance

    Location:Trichy

    Reports To:Operations Manager / MaintenanceManager

    JobSummary:

    As an HTDG Operator you willbe responsible for the operation maintenance and monitoring of HighTension Diesel Generators (HTDG) specifically Perkins &Caterpillar models. Your primary role includes ensuring theefficient and safe operation of HTDG systems conducting routinechecks performing preventive maintenance and responding swiftly toany operational issues.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    1. HTDGOperation andMonitoring:
      • OperateHTDG systems in accordance with operational guidelines to ensureuninterrupted power supply.
      • MonitorHTDG parameters such as voltage current and frequency and adjustcontrols asnecessary.
    2. PreventiveMaintenance andTroubleshooting:
      • Performroutine checks and preventive maintenance on Perkins &Caterpillar HTDGs to ensure optimalperformance.
      • Identify andtroubleshoot any technical issues performing repairs orcoordinating with technicians for complexproblems.
    3. SafetyandCompliance:
      • Adhereto safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensuresafe operation of HTDGs.
      • Ensurecompliance with all relevant regulations and standards pertainingto diesel generator operation andmaintenance.
    4. RecordKeeping andReporting:
      • Maintainaccurate records of HTDG operations maintenance activities and anyrepairs performed.
      • Prepare andsubmit regular reports detailing the status of HTDG systems and anymaintenance or operationalissues.
    5. CollaborationandCommunication:
      • Workcollaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure the reliabilityand efficiency of HTDGsystems.
      • Communicate effectivelywith team members management and other relevant parties regardingHTDG operations and maintenanceneeds.


    RequirementsEssentialQualifications:

    • Diplomaor degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or arelatedfield.
    • Provenexperience as an HTDG Operator or in a similar role specificallywith Perkins & Caterpillarmodels.
    • Familiaritywith the operational and maintenance requirements of high tensiondieselgenerators.

    Essential Qualifications and Skills: High school diploma orequivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or related field is aplus. Proven experience in sales, preferably in the audiovisualequipment industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in using billing and inventory management systems.Basic understanding of audiovisual equipment and technology.Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accuracy. Ability to work ina fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Sales-driven with a passion for exceeding targets.
