Investment Banking Associate


Experience:
3 to 5 years


Salary:
₹50,000 per month


Overview:


As an Investment Banking Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting various financial transactions and providing strategic advisory services to clients.


Responsibilities:


Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence, for potential transactions. Analyze company financial statements, industry trends, and market data to evaluate investment opportunities.


Deal Execution Support:
Assist in the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and other financial transactions.


Client Interaction:
Interact with clients to gather information, understand their financial needs, and provide updates on ongoing transactions. Assist in developing client relationships and delivering high-quality service to enhance client satisfaction.


Market Research:
Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and risks for clients. Stay updated on market developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes to provide informed insights and recommendations.


Presentation Preparation:
Assist in preparing pitch books, financial presentations, and investment memorandums for client meetings and internal discussions. Ensure presentations are accurate, insightful, and aligned with client objectives.


Transaction Documentation:
Support in drafting transaction-related documents, including term sheets, agreements, and regulatory filings. Coordinate with legal, accounting, and other external advisors to facilitate the documentation process.


Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with colleagues across various functions, including corporate finance, research, and compliance, to deliver integrated solutions and meet client requirements.

Communicate effectively and contribute to a positive team environment.


Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the transaction process. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with transactions and client engagements.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 35 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, valuation techniques, and transaction processes.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success.

₹40, ₹50,000.00 per month
