Job Summary:


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to play a key role in ensuring our home appliances comply with Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) regulations.


You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management system, conducting inspections, and collaborating with various teams to achieve consistent product quality and regulatory compliance.


Responsibilities:


  • Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) based on BIS standards and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure adherence to BIS specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports and documentation related to BIS compliance.
  • Analyze test results and identify potential quality issues, recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements.
  • Stay updated on the latest BIS regulations and amendments, ensuring compliance across all product lines.
  • Manage and maintain BIS certification documents and records.
  • Conduct internal audits and training sessions on BIS requirements and quality procedures.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Quality Management, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Minimum of 24 years of handson experience in quality assurance within the home appliances industry.
  • Strong understanding of BIS standards and regulations relevant to home appliances.
  • Experience with QMS implementation and maintenance, preferably ISO 900
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
