About the Department


Global Finance GBS Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Finance & Procurement, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for Headquarters, region Europe, North America, International Operations (IO) & GBS Bangalore.

The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.


The Position

As a Associate I the key responsibility:

  • Process invoices in SmartSCAN (Specify regions which you support). Improve auto verification and cleaning patterns by weekly.
  • Verify for legal document and followup on the vendor not found cases in smart scan. Ensure daily checks on Scanning reconciliation and addressing the fallouts.
  • Solve issues and exceptions in invoices with the help of Team Lead or seniors.
  • Thorough understanding of the process as related to processing invoices for payments.
  • Maintain technical accounting skills, accounting systems and process skills. Selfmotivated to work independently, within delegated authority, with mínimal or no supervision.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of commerce or equivalent Qualification.
  • Good academic track records and grades.
  • 01years of experience within an accounting/economy function from a larger organisation.
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written).
  • Strong Accounting Knowledge.
  • Proficient Computer skills (MS Office).
  • Social-Team work: Being helpful, respectful, approachable and team oriented.
