    Cloud Security Architect

    We are looking for a Cloud Security Architect with 11+ years of extensive experience and knowledge in developing security solutions and managing a team of security engineers


    Essential Functions:

    • Produces high-quality security architecture specifications, white papers, technical documentation, roadmaps, and presentation materials.
    • Acts as the ambassador and senior technical representative for Enterprise Security while engaging with other senior technical leaders throughout organization in design and implementation of cloud and cloud/hybrid-based implementations and solutions.
    • Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure Services, and Application Development organizations to choose appropriate technology solutions and facilitates complete integration into the company environments.
    • Work with little or no supervision to create security architecture deliverables based on high-level directives and principles to meet project requirements and timelines.
    • Make informed decisions on matters of risk and security architectural approach that reflect your information security experience and industry best practices.
    • Advanced understanding of tools and techniques used by attackers to exploit common IT system flaws and vulnerabilities.
    • Build security reference architectures for complex information systems based on industry frameworks and with traceable alignment to business requirements and goals
    • Lead and mentor the team of security engineers to deliver cloud security related initiatives.
    • Ensure security tools are deployed with appropriate security policies and rules to manage security risk, feed events to the corporate SIEM and minimize impact to systems and users.
    • Stay current with industry trends in the information security space.

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • 11 or more years of experience with Security Architecture and Engineering.
    • 5 or more years of experience in managing security engineers.
    • 7 or more years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
    • Experience with implementing & managing large scale global security projects from start to finish.
    • Experience with assessment, development, and implementation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes (secure software development, data protection, cryptography, key management, and network security) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments.
    • Working knowledge of common and industry standard cloud-native authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc.).
    • Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
    • Experience with virtualization, containers, and serverless technologies.
    • Experience with hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise to cloud migration deployments.
    • Experience with secure migration of applications in the cloud.
    • Familiarity with Azure foundation and PaaS services.
    • Strong written and oral skills.
