Para Teacher Job Description
Responsible to work with students in classes VI, VII and VIII, in a project supported school situated in Chennai. The job responsibilities include

Your job duties and responsibilities are the following;

Teaching students who are in need of remedial teaching and ensure that the students are able to suitably comprehend and follow the lessons so that they would be able to compete with other students
Coordinate with school teachers to identify children who have some learning challenges, develop individual education plans with activity based learning methods and help the children to improve learning outcomes
Communicate with children and help them understand lessons
Prepare the classroom to ensure a healthy learning environment
Monitor children with particular attention to those with special needs
Engage with children to enhance learning
Provide activitybased instruction for strengthening fundamental concept particularly in the area of language and Mathematics.
Periodically assess, monitor and record the improvements among the children
Maintain documentation and reporting to Project Coordinator.
Providing other support as per need of the school, project and organization.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Minimum qualifications: completed graduate or post graduate degree or diploma course in any field, after completing 12th.
Having experience in working as a teacher in public or private schools, or worked as a tutor for students
Experience in helping teachers in a classroom environment desired
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding of the educational system
Strong interpersonal and social attributes
Discipline and diligent nature
Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching
Patient with children including those with special needs
