Duties


The Resource Coordination Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Resource Coordination Specialist (RCS) and is responsible for procurement processes in support of Public Diplomacy (PD) activities and operations.

The position serves as PD liaison with the Management Section on procurement issues, tracking all documentation relevant to procurement of goods and services for the PD Section including contracts and acquisitions.

Manages PD Section equipment, materials, and expendable supply inventories. In addition, assists the RCS in budget preparation and tracking of expenditures against budget projections. Manages the PD section's petty cash.

The incumbent will be required to perform specialized technical duties involved in the operations of PAS audio/visual equipment.

These duties include training members of the section on A/V equipment use, providing A/V tech support and equipment set up for programs, lectures, demonstrations, internal and external digital video conferences (DVCs), webinars, film and speaker presentations.

The position also connects and operates public address systems and assists with photography/videography as needed.

Requirements:


EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in a major organization in budget, accounting, business administration, financial management, organizational management, public administration, project management, or grants management work is required.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
