The Rapid Charging Battery technology developed by Log9 solves the challenges in adoption for the 2W and 3W electric vehicle platforms while the Aluminum Fuel Cell technology is targeted towards the electrification of long haul, heavier vehicles.

Electrification of vehicles specially for commercial use ranging from 2W, 3W to LCVs to HCVs will not only have a significant positive impact on the environment, but it will lead to huge cost savings as well.

However, different vehicle platforms have unique requirements and hence there cannot be a one-type fit all battery technology.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with Suppliers in developing the parts as per design requirement with APQP approach
  • Facilitate suppliers in implementing effective APQP systems for all new development ( DFM Studies, FMEA, Control Plan, Cpk Study, Tier 2 selection etc.)


  • Drive "SQM

  • Supplier Quality Manual requirements" implementation throughout the development process
  • Work with supplier to establish consistent assembly and sub assembly manufacturing processes producing casting and machining, Plastic and rubber, Pressing and Fabrication, Fasteners, OTS parts, Mechanical proprietary parts etc.
  • Hands on experience in developing Mechanical parts thro' PDC/GDC casting processes, Welding (MIG and Spot) processes, Moulding processes, Plating and Surface coating processes etc.,
  • Good knowledge in interpreting the data received from assembly line / field and to identify the errors /capable of conducting the indepth RCA process to identify the root cause and propose corrective actions
  • Establish systems and processes for eliminating early failures of supplier parts in new products and regular products and ensure the product quality is consistent and sustained in the long run.
  • Conduct Process and System audit at supplier works and ensure the supplier quality Management Systems are in place to provide confident for Zero Defect supplies.
  • Establish the Agreement of Inspection, Receipt Inspection Standard, Supplier PDIR before SOP for NPD and ECN Changes
  • Proficient in designing gauges / fixtures / equipment for the incoming inspection and at supplier end to deliver defect free products.
  • Facilitate supplier in selecting the right Fixtures, Tools, Gauges and Material Handling equipment and test fixtures to ensure the outgoing product quality is meeting the specification with reliability
  • Work closely with Engineering, Sourcing and other functions to resolve supplier concerns in developing and manufacturing the products
  • Analyze and implement the Customer complaints, Warranty returns and ensure the corrective actions on Supplier products and process are implemented on time and sustained.
  • Ensure 100% compliance to IATF 16949 QMS System on daily management activities

Experience & Skills

  • 10 ~ 12 years experience in handling SQA / STA / SQE in an automotive organization
  • Technical expertise in developing Casting & Machining, Plastic and Rubber parts, Proprietary parts, Fasteners, OTS parts etc.
  • Preferably A Certified lead auditor for IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 QMS standard
  • Thorough knowledge on Quality tools and techniques, 8D, QC Story, DOE, 5Why,FEMA, PPAP, Minitab experience, Reliability Engineering
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their controls.
  • Target companies: Any EV Companies and 2w and 4w OEMs

Qualifications

  • BE Mechanical / Automobile with additional qualification in quality management programs.
  • Diploma in Mech Engg working with reputed Automotive OEMs.
