JR48395 System Design Architect (Evergreen)

Micron is a global leader in memory and storage solutions. With its own NAND & advanced technology, Micron has a significant advantage in developing its SSD drives.

Data Center & Auto SSD (DC & Auto SSD) team at Micron India is growing and is working to develop DC & Auto SSD drive with E2E responsibility.

This is the Senior Architect role for SSD design and architecture. This role will lead product architecture for all DC & Auto SSD drives developed in Micron, India.

An individual will work with design and development, global architects, product management, validation and all functional groups to architect various features of drive developed and partnered out of India.

Responsibilities:

Architect and lead other architects working on DC & Auto SSD features
Innovate, solve DC challenges in areas of power, performance, endurance & overall value add.
Work with global architects to align architecture globally
Work with India architect, design, and development to align locally
Work with DC & Auto business and system architect to align on feature and on specifications
Work with India and global DC & Auto leaders for future roadmaps
Represent DC & Auto SSD India in technical forums

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong storage fundamentals and storage protocols
Should have worked on design/development/architecture of enterprise SSD/storage products
Handsonexperience in as many areas as possible: PCIe, NVMe, ZNS, NAND media management and algorithm, Firmware, SSD FTL, TLC, QLC
Ability to architect independently and lead architecture team
Should have worked on development products grounds up
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability and track record to work across teams and geography

Education and Experience:

BS/MS in computer science
Related and experience of atleast 15 years
