Roles and Responsibilities:


Project planning and execution:

They plan, schedule and implement electrical projects from inception to completion. This includes determining project requirements, setting deadlines, estimating costs, and coordinating with other departments or contractors.


Electrician and technician supervision:

They oversee electricians and technicians to ensure accurate, safe, and on-schedule task completion. This includes assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing guidance, and addressing issues or concerns.


Safety compliance and risk management:

An electrical supervisor ensures all workcomplies with safety regulations and company policies. This involves conducting regularsafety inspections, identifying potential hazards, implementing safety procedures andtraining staff.


Quality control:

They maintain the quality of electrical work by conducting regularinspections. This helps them ensure installations and repairs meet industry standards

and client specifications and troubleshoot any issues that occur.


Maintenance and repair:

An electrical supervisor oversees routine and preventivemaintenance tasks and electrical system and equipment repairs. They identify andresolve problems quickly to minimise downtime, and disruption.


Documentation and record keeping:

They maintain accurate records of all electricalwork, including blueprints, schematics, maintenance logs and inspection reports. Thisdocumentation is helpful for future reference, troubleshooting and compliance.


Budgeting and cost control:

They manage budgets and control costs. This involvesmonitoring expenses, negotiating with suppliers and contractors, and identifyingopportunities to reduce costs.


Communication and collaboration:

An electrical supervisor maintains open lines ofcommunication with team members, clients and management to ensure that projectsrun smoothly, and meet expectations.

They also collaborate with other departments andcontractors as needed.


Educational qualifications:

diploma or degree in electrical engineering or a related field from a recognisedinstitution.


Relevant experience:

Require 3 year experience working in the electrical industry.


Licence and certifications:

Valid electrical licence from the appropriate authority, such as state electricity boards.


Salary:
₹18, ₹22,000.00 per month

Day shift, Performance bonus.
