Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Documentation:

Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to understand project requirements and define test objectives.
Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications.
Develop and maintain test documentation, including test scenarios, test data, and test environments.

Test Execution and Defect Management:

Conduct various types of testing, such as functional, regression, performance, and usability testing, to uncover software defects and ensure product quality.
Execute test cases and document test results, including defects found and steps to reproduce them.
Track and manage defects using defect tracking tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Perform root cause analysis and provide detailed defect reports to assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Test Automation:

Identify opportunities for test automation and develop automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and report any issues or failures.
Continuously enhance and maintain the test automation framework and test scripts.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
Participate in project meetings and provide regular status updates on testing progress.
Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Continuous Learning:

Stay uptodate with industry trends, new testing techniques, and emerging technologies.
Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills in software testing and quality assurance practices.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools.
Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Experience in defect management and tracking using defecttracking tools.
Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of programming languages, such as
Java, Python, or C#, is beneficial.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
