    Job Summary

    Amazon provides services to sellers in different countries to sell on Amazon marketplaces worldwide and expand multi-channel commerce. We are searching for a Sales Specialist to join the Global Selling (Exports) team at Amazon India.

    Amazon Global Selling plays a vital role in enhancing the Amazon Marketplace Seller Business globally. The team in India focuses on assisting Indian sellers in listing their products on various Amazon global marketplaces. This role presents an exciting opportunity to execute a strategy that promotes the use of Amazon Services by Manufacturers and Exporters in India looking to expand globally and influence product selection on Amazon marketplaces.

    The primary goal of this position is to drive continuous growth in new business for Amazon's range of seller services. This business unit contributes significantly to Amazon's vision of becoming the ultimate destination where customers can discover anything they wish to purchase.

    Operating in a dynamic sales environment, the individual will be responsible for identifying potential sellers, evaluating their suitability, negotiating agreements, and finalizing deals with third-party sellers. Specifically focused on recruiting new sellers for Amazon's accelerator program and presenting the program to potential new sellers, the success of this role will be determined by the product variety and revenue generated by the sellers on the platform.

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    Specific responsibilities include:
    • Understanding Amazon Global Selling products and services and effectively explaining their features and advantages to external audiences.
    • Monitoring and reporting performance using relevant metrics to achieve productivity and seller satisfaction goals.
    • Identifying potential prospects/partners, conveying the value proposition for their business, and establishing enduring, successful partnerships.
    • Collaborating with mid-level/senior executives of interested sellers to negotiate deals successfully and aid in their onboarding process.
    • Recruiting sellers, expanding product selection, and managing revenues for the category/channel of sellers.
    • Engaging with industry organizations, manufacturers, online sellers, and negotiating trade terms to drive business growth.
    • Strategizing investments in inventory and marketing from sellers to ensure their success.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
    • 2+ years of sales experience.
    • Proficiency in analyzing data and best practices to evaluate performance outcomes.
