Job Description - Account Executive

About the Company:
Established in 1964, it's a manufacturers and suppliers of mild steel drums and barrels.

Types of drums it produces such as - Lightweight drums, Epoxy coated drums and Open mouth drums or as per customer demands used for storage and transportation requirements for items such as - petroleum products, lubricating oils, chemicals & pharmaceutical products.

Reporting to:
Account Manager

Office Location:
Nadarganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India

Experience:
Minimum 3 years in accounting or finance

Salary Range:
Up to ₹25,000 per month

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records for the company.
Handle daytoday accounting activities, including invoicing, expenses, and payments.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for cost control.

Bank Reconciliation:

Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
Resolve discrepancies and report any irregularities promptly.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to streamline invoicing and payment processes.

Financial Reporting:

Generate periodic financial reports for management review.
Prepare financial statements and support the audit process.

Tax Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.
Work closely with external auditors during tax audits.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and provide insights for decisionmaking.
Support the finance team in special projects and initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in accounting software (Excel / Tally / SAP)
Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.

Salary:
₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
