Key Responsibilities

Design visually appealing, userfriendly, and responsive landing pages that effectively communicate the desired message and drive conversions.
Create relevant and engaging designs for various projects across multiple platforms, including websites, mobile apps, ecommerce platforms, social media updates, etc.
Design page layouts and templates, considering user experience, information hierarchy, and brand consistency.
Implement industry and design best practices throughout the website build process, ensuring optimal performance, accessibility, and user experience.
Communicate design intent effectively through wireframes, process flows, site maps, and user flows, facilitating a shared understanding of the project vision.
Develop highquality frontend code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while following best practices, coding standards, and optimisation techniques.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve frontend issues or bugs, ensuring smooth functionality across different devices and browsers.
Design visual imagery for websites, ensuring alignment with client branding guidelines and visual identity.
Manage website content using different content management systems (CMS).
Stay uptodate with web design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, incorporating them into design strategies and solutions.
Collaborate closely with developers, stakeholders, and project team members to align design objectives, gather feedback, and iterate on design solutions.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices while having uptodate knowledge of international web protocols, standards, and technologies.

Key Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Relevant projects or certifications in web design can also be beneficial.

Proficiency in Web Technologies: Expertise in HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, and other front-end web programming languages is crucial for effectively creating and modifying web pages.

Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team environment and handle pressure, collaborating with developers, stakeholders, and other team members to achieve shared project goals.

Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are needed to address design challenges and make informed design choices. Adaptability and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies as the web design field evolves.

Mastery in Design Tools: Proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Dreamweaver, etc.), Sketch, Figma, and other industry-standard design tools is needed. Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and a deep understanding of user-system interaction are required to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required to effectively convey design ideas, collaborate with team members, and gather feedback from stakeholders.

Content Management System (CMS)

Proficiency:

Good knowledge and experience working with popular CMS platforms to manage website content, effectively integrate design elements, and provide a seamless user experience.
