_ Role Purpose_

  • The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring proper monitoring of the
Processes in production. Resolving the alerts by following the predefined SOPs and maintaining
the documentations around the operational issues faced, any job/process failure and regular
updation of the SOPs.

_ Job Description_

  • Service Desk Management (Raising LW/Sev as per the priority matrix)
  • Coordination with various teams for Incident/Problem Management activities
- such as, issue identification and its closure,

  • Coordination with 3rd party team (e.g. Infra, Network, Cloud, AD/VPN, Security,
  • Monitoring, dashboarding, alerting, trending
  • Ensuring compliance to Airtel Security policies
  • Create and Maintain Ops, Jobs and Incident tracker
  • Regular updation of Ops, job and incident tracker to ensure that it is always up to date
  • Technical User coordination
  • Rerun the job manually to mitigate the Job failure
  • First Level (SOP) analysis of any issue reported/observed, job stuck/failure or
- on receiving of any alert.

  • Regular assessment of alerts and Dashboards and initiate required add/cleanup
  • Support for any planned activities (like upgrades, CRs, DC/DR/HW Activities, etc)
  • Create and maintain all documentation, trackers on Airtel's managed portal/sharepoint.
  • Resolution of issues with data sources, masters

_ Skill Required_

  • Basic OS/Linux/SQL etc
  • Flexible for Working in 24X7 shifts.
