We are looking for a dedicated and detail oriented Power BI Analyst/Developer who is eager to continuously engage, can understand the changing environment of the construction and engineering industry as it taps into the digital/virtual world.

Has a good understanding of digital technology, their processes and how they add value.

As a Data Scientist, you will support and provide advice to the Business Intelligence and Analytics team in creating insights gained from analyzing relevant company data.

Obtain information from various sources and analyze for a better understanding about how the business performs and to build Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools that automate certain processes within the company.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Use a variety of data mining or data analysis methods utilizing a variety of data tools,
Build and Implement models using and creating algorithms
Create and run simulations for complex Information Technology (IT) scenarios and solutions.
Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
Analyze and examine data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
Selecting features, building, and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques.
Conduct data mining activities using stateoftheart methods in support of the ML projects.
Extending company's data with third party sources of information when needed.
Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
Completing adhoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner when required.
Creating automated anomaly detection systems and conduct constant tracking of its performance.
Communicating challenges with examples and evidence while making recommendations when necessary.
Facilitate in leading multiple Digital Innovation projects from initiation to completion.
Communicate with stakeholders, including IT managers, vendors, and executive leaders.
Interact with users to understand business processes and gather user requirements comprehensively.
Conducting comprehensive systems testing (Integration, System and Acceptance) to ensure bugfree programs/platforms.
Liaising and communicating the agreed requirements to outsourcers.
Prepare project specific Technical Requirement Specs.
Perform Coding (where required) / Testing / Implementation.
Prepare and/or review Approved Test Plan/ Test Specs Perform Qualit Review for Implementations.
Prepare Training Material and conduct User training.
Identify and escalate project related issues to Project Manager.
Resolve rollout issues, providing swift resolutions to problems.
Manage the development of the software developed by a software partner.
Explore innovative technologies and evaluate their relevance.
Manage development of proofofconcept prototypes.
Conceptualize the usage of modern technology and adapt to enhance its product value.

What You'll Need

Degree, Master or PHD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
46 years' experience as a Data Scientist solving high impact business problems.
Solid Experience with Python, SQL, Git, AWS, Azure, and other relevant technologies.
Experience with applied statistics and quantitative modelling (e.g., regression, survival analysis, segmentation, experimentation, and machine learning when needed).
Demonstrated ability to translate analytical insights into clear recommendations and effectively communicate them to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Experience with Machine Learning frameworks.
Experience with Artificial Intelligence platforms or models frameworks and development.
Experience with Deep Learning frameworks (e.g., Pytorch, TensorFlow, Kubeflow, etc.)
A track record of manipulating data, draw insights from large data sets, managing code and production models.
Applied knowledge of realworld advantages and drawbacks of ML techniques including clustering, classification, decision tree learning and artificial neural networks.
Experience working with and creating data architectures.
Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping frameworks.
Experience with Business Intelligence Solutions like Power BI.
Familiar with various project management methodologies such as Agile, Lean Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Teams, and MS Project).
Clean-Code oriented.
Analytical and problemsolving skills, attention to detail and a customer and solutionoriented mindset.
