- Continuously monitors slate performance vs. plan and flags off levers to push in content to drive up performance + where we can enable Ad Sales + and so on
- Timely delivery of content masters for the platform, flagging off risks and inputting into slate changes – weekly updates, continuous discussions with Editors, S&P, Legal, Commercial, Category to capture/plan for issues –
- Helps build pipeline/ slate: (a) Running for the next many quarters – constant prioritization of pitches seeing potential (w Editors) – and then aligning investments (w Commercial) and targets (w Category team) (b) Pipeline presentations for the team to communicate/ share forward with other stakeholders – Sales, Commercial, Marketing, Sr Leadership
- Creating documents (data + consumer insights) for discussions with creative partners, and so on
- Quality of analysis and insights generated
- Comfort to use data and analytics while building on client conversations
- Concise yet inspiring communicator
- Ability to leverage relationships & build network
- Affinity towards content
- Effective presentation skills
- Preferred Qualification: MBA
- 6-8 years of experience in planning, strategy, analytics, or a direct-to-consumer business

– Content Development Strategy Manager, Hotstar Specials, Disney+ Hotstar
Location – Mumbai
Summary-
A planning & strategy role in the Disney+ Hostar Hindi Specials team that holds portfolio view of Content– How deep is the pipeline and when are shows slated to be ready for launch. What kind of shows in the slate – genres, investments, monetization plan. Running the project plan across Editors and S&P/ Commercial/Legal/ Technical other stakeholders.
It is a role is constantly monitoring + collecting information + data collaboratively across teams and guiding the Content Development & Strategy Head in planning the slate.
About the team-
Content Development & Strategy is a team that helps centrally input into the portfolio of original content for Disney+ Hotstar - SVOD & AVOD, fiction & non fiction; Hindi & English languages. The charter involves development of the show pipeline on time, and with consumer learnings & storytelling method built into script.
Reporting To – Executive Director - Content Development
