Description

The Export Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting data related to the company's export sales activities.

The Export Data Analyst will work closely with the sales, logistics, and finance teams to develop insights that inform business decisions and drive improvements in operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, compile and analyze data related to the company's export sales activities, including sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of export-related information, including shipment and payment data, customs requirements, and compliance regulations. Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Generate regular reports and dashboards to track and communicate performance metrics to stakeholders, including the Director of International Sales and the Executive Leadership Team.

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness through data analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in business processes and systems. Provide ad hoc analysis and support to the sales, logistics and finance teams as needed. Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies related to data analysis and visualization.


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, data science, business, or economics. 2+ years of experience in data analysis or related field, preferably in an export or international business environment. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, R, or Python. Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of export regulations and compliance requirements is a plus. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
