Operation Theatre Nurse - Mulund, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India - MEDSTAR MULTISPECIALITY HOSPITAL AND ICU

Description

• Assist the Surgeon / Anesthetist in Operation Theater during routine & emergency surgeries and ensure hospital SOPs are followed strictly.
• Direct and supervise the sterilization of all instruments, linen & other consumable.
• Manage OT bookings and ensure availability of staff in consultation with Matron & Administrative Officer.
• Ensure Organization & supervision of OT housekeeping, Central sterile supply department, Patient care, proper collection, segregation and disposal of biomedical waste.
• Educate the patients about surgical procedure, post-operative care and provide clear instructions on how they can manage the pain and other symptoms.
• Carefully operate, monitor and maintain medical equipment and ensure their accurate functioning all the time and maintain record of the same.
• Renew MNC registration, if applicable, from time to time and provide updated copy to the management.
• Any other duties and responsibilities entrusted by the administration.
