- To implement, monitor, review & control the Process parameters in order to achieve the design objectives, achieve products yield & quality as per the targets while ensuring safe & reliable plan operations and enhance the operational excellence of the Process Unit **ORGANISATIONAL CHART
RESPONSIBILITIES
**ACTIVITIES
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Planning & Budgeting:
Shift co-ordination of maintenance, technical and operational activities.
Authority:
Set priorities of jobs, Deputation of field officers in any plant area, sanctioning short leaves to field officers
To optimize the yield through put as per the plan.
Shift wise co-ordination with AAM, Planning, TS Lead and lab to achieve the required yield as per the plan.
Timely handover / takeover of equipment' under maintenance.
Day to day job planning with Shift engineers.
To comply with operational budget.
Systems, Policies & Procedures :
To implement the improvement of systems, procedures & policies during the shift in order to create a management framework to achieve business's goals
Authority:

Shift wise implementation of unit specific Systems, Policies & Procedures under the guidance of area manager / assistant area manager.
Ensuring proper implementation of SOPs across the operating unit.
Management:
To implement the unit Systems, Policies & Procedures during his shift In order to achieve targeted outcomes as efficiently as possible
Authority:
to take deviations in case of emergencies with information to AAM/AM/RSM
Shift wise follow-up and monitoring of implementation of the systems, policies & procedures.
To optimize the yield through put product quality as decided in daily planning meeting.
To achieve the daily operation targets as per plan during the shift.
To participate in the ABC meeting to facilitate in problem solving and decision making.
Team Management:
Under the guidance of Area manager / assistant area manager, he grooms the team members to achieve the team's objectives and continue to do so over time.
Authority:
to depute/exchange areas of field officers as required by situations and for training to other areas
To ensure that team members are clear about their roles and guide them.
To ensure the proper growth opportunity for each employee through identification & implementation of training needs, Introduce job rotation within the department.
To report to area manager / assistant area manager about any deviations occurred/observed during the shift and actions taken.
OHSMS
HSEF CARE & WELFARE:
To comply with the effective implementation of all HSEF procedures pertinent to specified area in order to achieve a safe and healthy work place during the shift.
Authority:
No. Of work after checking the relevant procedural requirements and ensuring 100% safety compliances for the job.
Effective Implementation of Tenets of Operational Excellence in all the areas of Operations in the shift.
To carry out safety Audits as directed by area manager / assistant area manager.
Carry out PSSR as an operations team member as per requirements.
In case of emergency, to take immediate emergency action to protect personnel and to contain the incident.
Maintain proper House Keeping during the shift.
Preparation of TBRA.
Adhere to work permit system.
Safety procedures and policies
Reporting of near misses, incidents, accidents during the shift. Generation of SAP for all maintenance related activities
Authority:
Issue/Reject of Work Permit after checking the relevant procedural requirements and ensuring 100% safety.
To report all near misses in the shift.
To report all the incidents of fire and also accidents during the shift.
To issue work permits for all maintenance related activities.
To generate SAP job requests for the jobs.
