    Role Description

    This is a full-time hybrid role for a Publishing Coordinator located in New Delhi, with flexibility for some remote work. We are seeking a motivated Publishing Coordinator to join our remote team on a full-time basis. This role involves preparing and finalizing book titles for publication across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language, proficiency in Arabic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare Book titles for publication by formatting manuscripts, ensuring consistency in style and presentation.
    • Collaborate with editors, designers, and authors to finalize book content and cover designs.
    • Upload finalized manuscripts to various publishing platforms.
    • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accurate uploads and metadata.
    • Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional material related to new releases.

    Requirements:

    • Proficient understanding of the English language with excellent grammar and writing skills.
    • Fluency in Arabic language for accurate handling of Arabic texts.
    • Experience or knowledge of the publishing industry is preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow guidelines and processes.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work in a remote team setting.
    • Proficiency in project management, including the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Experience with content management systems.
    • Access to a reliable, high-spec laptop and a fast internet connection (minimum 500 Mbps speed).
