Roles and Responsibility

Job Title:
SAP Basis Administrator

Experience: 6 to 8 years


Notice period:
Immediate to 15 days

SAP Basis Administration:

  • Perform daytoday SAP Basis administration tasks, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage SAP system landscapes, client copies, transports, and system refreshes.
  • Install, upgrade, and patch SAP systems as needed.

SAP S/4 HANA Expertise:

  • Administer and support SAP S/4 HANA systems on Microsoft Azure.
  • Implement and maintain S/4 HANA best practices for optimal performance.
  • Handle system migrations and upgrades, ensuring a smooth transition to new versions.

Azure Cloud Management:

  • Configure, monitor, and optimize SAP environments running on Microsoft Azure
  • Collaborate with Azure architects and administrators to ensure the seamless integration of SAP systems with Azure services.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and maintain security policies for SAP systems on Azure.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Work closely with the cybersecurity team to address any vulnerabilities.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including SAP functional consultants, developers, and infrastructure teams.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other IT teams and endusers.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.

Documentation and Training:

  • Maintain uptodate documentation for SAP configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior administrators and endusers as necessary.

Skill requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an SAP Basis Administrator with a focus on S/4 HANA.
  • Handson experience managing SAP systems on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in SAP system installations, upgrades, and patching.
  • Experience with SAP security concepts and compliance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant SAP certifications are a plus.
