MASSAGE THERAPIST

JOB DUTIES:


  • Promote a warm, relaxed feeling for members and clients and anticipate their needs.
  • Personalize each treatment to accommodate the individual needs of our clients. Interact appropriately with client and members in conversation or simply presence.
  • Follow established protocol to provide consistent, excellent service.
  • Must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of shift to prepare.
  • Be extremely knowledgeable and able to accurately describe and sell services and products offered. Educate clients on the benefits of Massage.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization and restocking of treatment rooms. Assist in helping with cleanliness throughout the Spa.
  • Perform opening and closing responsibilities noted on massage therapist/room checklist.
  • Maintain excellent communication between activity in the treatment rooms and receptionists. Provide accurate information to the receptionists regarding type and length of treatment provided to clients. Constantly review bookings for the day checking for booking errors, double bookings, special requests, etc.
  • Assist members and clients with rescheduling or cancelling as requested.
  • Provide assistance when necessary.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Licensed in massage therapy and cosmetology or aesthetics.
  • Proven 1 year experience working as a spa therapist.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Patience and respect. Professional appearance and demeanour
  • Must be physically able to perform at a high level for a consecutive 60to90minute massage session
  • Cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Hands on experience in massage techniques for back, head and foot.
  • Job location: Mumbai and Pune

Salary:
From ₹25,000.00 per month
