    Description

    Position Summary

    As a Level-1 Nutanix Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our customers' Nutanix-based solutions. You'll work closely with our clients, assess their environments, and provide effective solutions. If you're passionate about solving complex problems, breaking down barriers, and contributing to the open-source community, this role is for you.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and Configuration: Design, configure, and deploy Nutanix-based hyper-converged infrastructure solutions as per customer requirements.
    • Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor and maintain Nutanix clusters to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
    • Accelerating Operations: Perform day to day operations and support to run the virtualization infrastructure. Support in all regular areas like hardening, patching, etc
    • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on Nutanix technologies, cloud system design, and maintain latest document repositories.
    • Intermediate level in VM hosting, provisioning, Microsoft OS, Linux OS, Backup policy.
    • Basic Tier-1 operations like System hardening, patching, configuration change, template management ,AD operations etc.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Min. 3 years Nutanix virtualization environment experience.
    • Knowledge of HPE server and veritas backup appliances is preferred.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a hunger for continuous learning.
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
