Roringo is in stealth mode, creating a platform that incentivizes individuals and businesses to lower their carbon footprint and combat climate change.
We're looking for a Machine Learning Intern who is passionate about climate mitigation and creating solutions with the latest foundation models as a start and create new agents of change.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the data science team in developing and implementing machine learning models for Roringo.
- Conduct literature reviews and research on carbon footprint methodologies, life cycle assessments, and related topics.
- Help preprocess and analyze large datasets related to carbon footprints of products, environmental impacts, and industryspecific nuances.
- Collaborate with team members to integrate datadriven insights into the Roringo platform.
- Support the data science team in refining models based on realworld performance and feedback.
- Stay uptodate with the latest research and advancements in machine learning, data science for climate related problems.
Qualifications:
- Recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in data science and machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikitlearn, and TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with SQL or other database technologies.
- Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and analytical abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passionate about climate change and the role of data science in addressing it.
- Interest in combating climate change and promoting sustainability and circular economy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
