We are looking for an Immigration Specialist or Paralegal attorney to work in our immigration team.


    Position Summary:


    Working alongside with immigration team, an immigration Specialist will be in charge of liaising and assisting company employees through the progress of their visa petitions or other cases.

    Their responsibilities revolve around gathering and securing foreign documents, coordinating with immigration managers, managing and filing documentation, preparing applications, and handling case systems and other databases.

    Furthermore, as an immigration paralegal, it is essential to update employees with the progress of their cases, answering their inquiries and helping them navigate through the procedures as needed.


    Day to Day Duties:


    Assist Immigration Manager in preparing and filing various immigration petitions, and forms like visa applications, adjustment of status, deportation defense cases etc.

    Coordinating on daily basis with Immigration Team, and attorney on status on pending cases, new cases, documentation status.
    Gather, organize, and review supporting documentation required for immigration filings.
    Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and precedents to support case preparation and provide recommendations to Immigration Manager.

    Serve as a primary point of contact for company employees, providing updates on case status, requesting additional documentation or information as needed, and answering general inquiries related to the immigration process.

    Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining case files, preparing correspondence.

    Ensure that all immigration filings are completed accurately and submitted within established deadlines to avoid delays or potential legal consequences.

    Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and effective case management.
    Conduct regular reviews of completed paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance with immigration laws and regulations.

    Stay updated on changes to immigration laws, policies, and procedures to maintain proficiency in the field and provide informed assistance to clients and attorneys.


    Qualification:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies, immigration law, or a related field.
    Previous experience working as an immigration paralegal or in a similar role preferred.
    Should have minimum 6+ years' experience worked as Immigration Specialist
    Must be well-versed in the immigration process as well as the relevant laws and regulations.
    Possess Sound Knowledge on USCIS procedures and its periodically updates.

    Should possess sound Knowledge on LCA filing on DOL site, I-129, RFE response, OPT/s I-20, end to end GC processing, I-539 etc.

    Preparing briefs and other legal documents. Knowledge of immigration forms, how to fill them out, and how to file them.
    Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases at different stages.
    Keeping track of case files and deadlines. Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ATS.
    Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
