JOB SUMMARY

This person would be responsible for overseeing the operations of a daycare centre, which includes managing and providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for young children. The person will ensure that the daycare centre is in compliance with all regulations and laws. The teacher will also be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs, ensuring program quality, and monitoring budget expenditures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in the daycare facility. Follow safety and health regulations and procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised classroom environment.
Assists in the development of children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive skills.
Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children.
Supervise children's activities, both indoors and outdoors. Monitor children's behaviour and intervene and redirect as necessary.
Coordinate well with parents to ensure the best care for the children. Communicate about their children's development and progress.
Supervise the snacks and meal hours.
Keep accurate records of attendance, meals, and activities.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay up to date on best practices.
Maintain portfolios and progress record files for all children.
Administer basic first aid if necessary.

Qualifications
- a certification in Early Childhood Education
- minimum two years of experience of working in a daycare

Salary:
₹12, ₹16,000.00 per month
