Job Description:


Position Summary:


The Aravali Story is seeking skilled and passionate individuals to join our dynamic team as Tandoor Commie 1, 2 & 3, Indian, Chinese, and Continental Commie.

The role primarily entails preparing and executing delicious vegetarian dishes, contributing to the creation of an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

A strong culinary background with expertise in Tandoor, Indian, Chinese, or Continental cuisine is required.


Responsibilities:


Tandoor Commie:

  • Expertly prepare and cook a variety of vegetarian Tandoor dishes, ensuring exceptional taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Operate and maintain Tandoor equipment effectively and efficiently.
  • Assist with developing and updating the Tandoor menu, taking into consideration new culinary trends.

Indian Commie:

  • Prepare authentic Indian vegetarian dishes, adhering to traditional recipes while incorporating innovative flavors and presentation techniques.
  • Follow the restaurant's guidelines and maintain highquality standards for taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef in creating new Indian menu items and specials.

Chinese Commie:

  • Creatively craft vegetarian Chinese dishes, including stirfries, noodles, and soups, while maintaining the authenticity of Chinese culinary traditions.
  • Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth operation and highquality preparations.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of the Chinese menu, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Continental Commie:

  • Prepare and handle various vegetarian Continental dishes, including pastas, burgers, salads, and more.
  • Ensure compliance with high culinary standards, portion control, and food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Partie in developing and refining the Continental menu, creating a diverse and enticing selection.

General Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Follow hygiene and sanitation protocols, ensuring compliance with food handling and storage guidelines.
  • Efficiently manage inventory and stock control, reporting any shortages or discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a Tandoor Commie, Indian Commie, Chinese Commie, or Continental Commie, preferably in a vegetarian restaurant.
  • Advanced knowledge and expertise within the specific cuisine (Tandoor, Indian, Chinese, or Continental).
  • Strong culinary skills, including preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
  • Familiarity with vegetarian and vegan ingredients and cooking methods.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality and standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Salary:
₹15, ₹18,000.00 per month
