We are looking for Fashion Designer – Women's Indian Couture.

Experience: 2-4 Years

Location: Noida

Job Overview:

As a Fashion designer in our India Couture team, you will be working under the creative director on conceptualising and creating designs. Within our Indian Couture division, you will be responsible for the designing of Lehengas, Sarees, Gowns, and Saree Gowns, with a focus on Indian embroidery techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and create mood boards for the direction of our Indian couture line.
• Working on brainstorming, sketching & ideating on concepts/designs.
• Source new fabrics and embroidery materials in line with the brands DNA.
• Oversee the complete execution of the sample development.
• Create artworks and sketches digitally.
• Working with Masters to create Toiles.
• Work on surface developments, hand and machine embroidery.

Requirements and Skills:

• Degree in Design (preferably from NIFT, NID, FIT-NYC, LCF/CSM-London)
• Experience working with a Couture house in the design department
• An understanding of Gaurav Gupta's brand vision and customer profile
• Out of the box vision and experience in Indian embroideries like Zardozi, Aari etc.
• Knowledge of Indian textiles.
• Proficiency in software's like MS Office, Procreate, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Good communication and ability to work within a team.
