Position Name - Automation Tester**
Location - Bangalore**
Experience Range - - 5 years**
Mandatory Requirement:

Experience in designing and executing automated tests using frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
Familiarity with test management tools like Jira, Testlink, qTest, etc and test case management techniques.
Proficiency in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using issue tracking systems such as Jira, Redmine, Bugzilla, etc.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Test planning and strategy: Collaborate with the development team and project stakeholders to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans and strategies. Identify test objectives, test scope, and test deliverables.

Defect identification and tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems. Conduct thorough defect analysis, including bug reproduction, defect isolation, and root cause analysis.

Regression testing: Perform regression testing to validate that software changes and bug fixes do not introduce new defects or impact existing functionality. Develop and maintain regression test suites to ensure ongoing software quality.

Test automation: Collaborate with the development team to identify opportunities for test automation. Design and develop automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks. Execute automated tests and analyze test results.

Documentation and reporting: Prepare test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, and defect reports. Provide regular status updates and test metrics to project stakeholders.

Collaboration and communication: Collaborate closely with the development team, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination. Participate in project meetings, provide input on technical feasibility, and offer recommendations for improving software quality.

Continuous improvement: Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Continuously enhance testing processes and contribute to the improvement of the overall software development lifecycle.

Qualification and Experience:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are advantageous.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role, working on software development projects.
