Job Title:
Godown Incharge


Responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient loading and unloading of hardware and steel items.
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Coordinate with drivers and logistics personnel for timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
• Ensure the godown's cleanliness, organisation, and adherence to safety standards.
• Monitor and manage the godown team's performance, providing guidance and support.
• Report any discrepancies or damages in stock to higher management.
• Collaborate with the sales and procurement teams to fulfil orders promptly.
• Implement and maintain godown management best practices.

Requirements:

• Fluent in Hindi and Bengali to facilitate effective communication.
• Diligent and detailoriented to maintain accuracy in loading, unloading, and stock checks.
• Proven experience in warehouse or godown management is preferred.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with drivers and team members.
