As the Site In-Charge with MEP experience at K-BNK Design Built PVT LTD, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of MEP systems in our commercial interior projects.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all MEP work is carried out efficiently, meets quality standards, and complies with regulatory requirements.

This position reports to the Project Manager and requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to project management.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage all aspects of MEP work onsite, including coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in commercial interior projects.
  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to review MEP drawings, specifications, and requirements, and provide technical input during the planning and design phase.
  • Supervise and lead a team of MEP engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of MEP work according to project timelines and budget.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor the progress of MEP installations, identify any issues or deviations, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and consultants for MEP materials, equipment, and services procurement, ensuring quality and costeffectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for MEP systems, and obtain necessary approvals and permits from authorities.
  • Conduct MEP system tests, inspections, and quality checks to verify performance, functionality, and adherence to design specifications.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records related to MEP work, including asbuilt drawings, equipment manuals, warranties, and maintenance schedules.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, contractors, and clients on MEPrelated matters, resolving any technical issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and coordination sessions with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration across all project phases.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in MEP work, preferably in commercial interior projects.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in MEP systems design, installation, and commissioning, including Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, and lowvoltage systems.
  • Proficiency in MEP software tools and AutoCAD for drafting and design along with MS. Office is preferred
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet project deadlines.
  • Leadership abilities with experience in supervising and leading teams of MEP professionals and subcontractors.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Problemsolving mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to MEP systems.
