    Roles and Responsibilities

About Business line/Function:

IT Governance is the team under IT organization that covers 4 main functions - Procurement, Finance PMO and SQM. The core mandate of IT Governance team is to ensure that


IT Procurement:

Research of potential vendors, compare and evaluate offers from Suppliers, negotiate contracts and prices, update records of purchased product, delivery information and invoice.


IT Finance:
Optimize the IT Costand day to day operations to achieve the expected savings


IT PMO:
Supervise and coordinate the project teams and report to the IT managers on a regular basis.


SQM:
Carry out the execution of regular thematic controls over the IT activity, Provide statistics regarding control indicators.

The Governance function focuses on having IT Procedures in line with the company's requirements and updated to cover the process framework, manage risk, reporting and audit-readiness

Position Purpose
Ensure IT Data, Architecture and Process governance for Co.

Expectation from the role will be to develop an understanding of the company's expectations on these areas and then develop procedures, processes and framework to document, communicate and ensure the implementation of these processes.


Ensure that the procedures are in line with the company's IT procedure framework and is aligned to GCP controls and other audit requirements.


Expectation will be to be able to participate in the project / major change reviews to assess architecture, data and process level compliance and alignment.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct Responsibilities

  • Supports the CIO to ensure that quality, security IT guidelines are fully integrated in IT master plan
  • Ensures awareness of data to all stakeholders
  • Interacts with their manager on activity related on data quality, integrity and protection management
  • Participate in the project / major change reviews to assess architecture, data and process level compliance and alignment
  • Ensure alignment with the Co.'s expectations linked Data (Governance, Documentations, Protection) and overall IT procedures
  • Steers the contribution of IT to ensure the integrity and availability of data
  • Steers, with the IT security officer, the contribution of IT to ensure the protection of data. Coordinates operational IT activities linked with data quality analysis
  • Suggesting ideas to reduce costs in IT and business leadership
  • Conducting research in talent management to improve the organization's business operations
  • Ensuring the efficiency, security, and support of the organization's goals
  • Overseeing data management, data analytics, and data governance
  • Ensuring data quality (Remediation and Correction plan)
  • Spearheading data and information strategy and menage the catalogue for Data Tool
  • All solution review ( ~5 to 6 vendors ) in terms of Data
  • Ownership of Procedures GCP controls related to the Data, RCSA related to Data
  • Initiatives related to PDP

Contributing Responsibilities

  • For the procedures related to IR Risk, coordinate and consolidate the development and the maintenance which are under the responsibility of the ITRO,
  • Assess on a regular basis assess the IT processes performance and launch improvement loops when needed

Technical & Behavioural Competencies

  • Strong work experience on IT procedure / Governance framework including activities like Development, testing, production support, ITSM, asset management, IT budgeting
  • Exposure to COBIT or equivalent frameworks
  • Excellent written documentation skills (language, format, diagrams)
  • Excellent Teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to convey messages to senior leadership
  • Take individual ownership of high level tasks like policy framing, review, planning and visioning
  • Ability to think and act strategically and proactively
  • Exposure to conduct training / presentation to a large audience
  • Exposure to IT audits

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • More than 5 years of experience in IT industry in the area of Data processing, Data governance, Data Protection, Documentation / audit
  • Strong written documentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of cyber security, data protection, Data privacy
  • Strong exposure to IT processes, SDLC
