Description

Job responsibilities:

1) To receive materials from suppliers/ repair agency or vessel & issue of materials to vessels or repair agency.

2) Supervision & physical preliminary inspection of material received in stores as per suppliers delivery challan & PO regarding quantity, quality etc.

3) Reporting to Technical Manager for quality inspection of materials received in Stores.

4) To prepare GRN/ DC and supervision of preparing GRN & Delivery Challan.

5) Reporting of all material received in stores to the Managers.

6) Supervision of packaging & labeling of materials.

7) Monthly physical counting of stock & reporting.

8) Reporting of monthly stock statement.

9) Reporting of dispatch list of material to concerned base offices & Technical Managers.

10) Follow up of vessel acknowledgements with Base Offices

11) Handling complaints regarding short supply, damaged material received etc.

12) Arrangement of transportation, courier for dispatch of material & follow up with transporter for timely delivery.

13) Co-ordination with Base Office & Purchase Department if any discrepancies in supply of materials, acknowledgement of vessels, transportation arrangements etc.

14) Informing job-work vendors for repair material.

15) Handling complaints regarding short supply & damaged material etc.

Knowledge required:

1) To get the materials in stores with proper documentation.

2) Initial inspection (preliminary) on quantity, quality, specifications, expiry dates etc. based on past experience & PO details.

Pay:
₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
