POSITION DETAILS:

Position Title:
Project Milestone Assessor Vehicle programs - Milestone assessment (External)

Reports to Position:
Vehicle programs Milestone Lead - India & Asia ? Pacific

Department:
Customer Experience India & Asia ? Pacific

OBJECTIVE:
The role is to deliver against below objectives within the region.

a) Ensures that all Project expected deliverables are achieved at each milestone by managing interviews with the main

responsible persons of the project.

b) Rates the risks of the projects. Ensures that all the objective (QCDP) risks or gaps have a corrective plan.

Specific attention is focused on the Quality results (Product and Industrial).

c) Draws up the milestone assessment according to the Project development.

d) Supports the Project Teams and Mass-production Teams to deploy the quality methods and all the methods

needed to master the running and the achievement of the Product Quality and Quality Processes results.

e) Contributes to the improvement of the referential (i.e. MPRJ or Project or other entities) by bringing the lessons

learned acquired during the Project or Mass-production development. He draws up the lessons learned and shares

them. He brings his experience to update or improve the processes or methods.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Description

  • Preparing the milestone assessment on time
  • Initiate to understand the block / hard points for the specific topics of the project
  • Working and Guiding the project for proper closure of Milestone blocking points
  • Right time escalation to the Lead and Head of program assessment team

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal:
IAP, and Country ? business units across all disciplines of an OEM on all hierarchy levels

External:
Dealer partner & staff, and suppliers


PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (INDICATIVE):

  • SOD compliance (model launch guidelines)
  • Milestones planning with respect to Program timeline ? Special reviews on the major topics related to various projects

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Qualifications/ Skills and Experience:
years experience in Automobile. 5+ experience in new vehicle projects / Launch Quality experience.

  • Experience working with Plant, Engineering
  • Good technical knowledge on Vehicles and Powertrains.
  • A team player capable of working independently as well as part of a larger team
  • A strong relationship builder and negotiator
  • Ability to drive for discontinuity and innovation
  • Proven track record of leadership and change management
  • Preferable existing knowledge of vehicle programs (global / IAP / India)
