Description

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily construction activities on-site to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and according to quality standards.

You will play a key role in managing work crews, enforcing site policies, and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities, including scheduling and assigning tasks to work crews and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Monitor work progress and productivity, addressing any issues or delays promptly.

• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards on-site.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks to promote a safe working environment.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and hazards, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

• Inspect workmanship and construction materials to verify compliance with project requirements.
• Address quality issues promptly and collaborate with the project team to resolve discrepancies.

• Communicate project goals, schedules, and requirements to work crews and subcontractors.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide progress updates and address concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, records of work performed, and incident reports.

• Coordinate the delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment onsite.
• Monitor inventory levels and requisition supplies as needed to support construction activities.

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
• Problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities to address onsite challenges.
• Familiarity with construction software and tools for project management is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in construction management is advantageous.
