HighLevel is experiencing tremendous growth and we are excited to be adding a People Operations Business Partner to our team.

This key position will serve as a liaison between the People Operations department and the business by aligning people management activities with the organizational strategy.

The People Operations Business Partner will work closely with management and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity, and drive employee engagement initiatives.


Working with our front line managers, this role will drive and lead the HR initiatives for the organization, partner with leaders on workforce planning, identifying future talent and their development needs through succession planning and delivering business results.

Importantly, our People Operations Business Partner will be a company culture and employee experience champion focused on implementing culture related initiatives related to wellness, diversity, equity and inclusion as well as career path initiatives supporting the growth of our team members.

This role will be a trusted advisor to our leadership and report to the Sr. Manager, People Operations.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Collaborate with business leaders to implement strategies focused on increasing employee engagement, retention and team development.
  • Work with department leaders to identify the 30, 60, and 90 day training and development needs for new team members.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct timely, thorough investigations and make recommendations.
  • Partner and guide managers through challenging conversations including performance plans and terminations.
  • Coach, advise, counsel and provide candid feedback to People Leaders.
  • Lead, strategize and project manage specific People Operations verticals (e.g. total rewards, employee relations, employee engagement, training, etc.).
  • Provide guidance to team members and management on policies, procedures and programs.
  • Develop and manage change management efforts across the organization.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with People Operations leadership to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Participate in all facets of the performance management activities including facilitating performance management training, ensuring all reviews are conducted in a timely manner and recommendations for merit are received.
  • Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews, highlighting trends, identifying opportunities, and recommending action plans as needed.
  • Drive training needs and identify training solutions to build capability that supports the growing business.
  • Assist with the maintenance and documentation of internal HR processes and controls as needed.
  • Handle benefit related issues for our team members by working in partnership with our Payroll & Benefits Administrator.
  • Administer HR policies in compliance of all federal, state and local legal requirements.

What You'll Bring:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years as a Human Resources Business Partner
  • 5+ years experience in an HR role showing increasing responsibility including handson experience managing day to day HR administration
  • Strong Google sheets/excel proficiency
  • Previous experience with HR information systems is required
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, work independently, multitask, and follow up on projects and issues
  • Detailoriented with strong followthrough
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization across multiple teams
