- Container Handling: Efficiently handle containers from storage areas to designated locations, ensuring proper stacking and organization.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on RTG cranes and report any malfunctions or issues promptly. Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and servicing.
- Communication and Coordination: Maintain clear communication with control room operators and other terminal personnel to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with ground staff for efficient container movement.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operating procedures, and guidelines. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement in safety practices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of container movements, equipment inspections, and any incidents.
- Proven experience as an RTG Operator in a port or terminal environment.
- Valid certifications for RTG crane operation.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
- Physical fitness for extended periods of sitting and operating controls.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
