- Use data to understand customer needs and behaviors; map those against business objectives, and transform that knowledge into product enhancements (existing product space and net new features)
- Build client agnostic backends that solve for the needs of customers across all of our platforms: iOS and Android apps, mobile web and desktop applications
- Break down complex problems and back up your recommendations with quantitative and qualitative reasoning
- Given outcomes (e.g., improve a specific KPI), independently own and craft a sequenced set of customer problems and tactics to solve over a ~6 month time horizon (that benefit customers across our US, UK, DE and Canada sites, in addition to Wayfair's specialty and luxury retail brands)
- Build and maintain roadmaps for your product(s); partner with user experience design and usability, analytics, engineering, technical program managers, other product managers, and stakeholders to translate your vision and roadmap into reality
- Drive measurable results and/or learnings using testing best practices; monitor performance of your focus area
- 4-7 years experience working in product management. Experience in ecommerce, and at companies that own a significant tech stack highly valued.
- An ownership mentality. You proactively work to improve your product, its reliability, and plans for its future state. You propose adjustments to priorities as needed, and take responsibility for outcomes, celebrating team wins and surfacing learning moments openly.
