Description

Examine the applicability of various RBI Regulations/Directions/ Notifications and Statutes to the Company as an NBFC and compliances applicable to the Company.

Identify/ update the compliance obligations applicable to the respective departments for implementation. Promptly report amendments/ any new Regulations along with its impact. Support in implementation of the Compliance Policy and Manual

Document the controls/ process against the applicable / new compliances, undertake compliance risk assessment and document/present the outcome of CRA exercise as per the Compliance Manual.
Conduct compliance testing activities based on testing plan developed and document the findings of compliance test conducted and report the same to Management.
Monitor and verify compliances in a time bound manner through internal compliance checklists/SOPs, testing conducted, audit reports and declaration/certifications etc. Review and verify that the Company policies/ manuals/ business processes are aligned with the applicable compliances. Coordinate to ensure that the applicable compliances are aligned with business activities.
Comprehensive compliance review for new business products to evaluate its alignment with the applicable regulatory requirements and give suggestions.
Identify /detect instances of compliance breaches or violations and report to CCO. Provide guidance for corrective action and coordinate with the concerned departments for taking corrective action for any compliance breaches.
Other compliance related activities to ensure compliance with the applicable regulatory and Statutory norms
