Assistant Merchandiser - Kolkata, West Bengal, India - Star Export House - Leather Goods

Description

We are a long-established Star Export House recognised by the Government of India and supplying leather goods to several reputed international buyers.

We are seeking a Production Merchandiser to manage product development, sample coordination and bulk orders with the below responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the product (leather bags and small leather goods) through development, modifications, bulk production and shipment.
• Prepare and update trim cards based on comments received from the buyer.
• Work on ERP system and Microsoft Office to create and update Bill of Materials (BOM) and Packing List.
• Track and followup samples and bulk production as per Time & Action Calendar (TNA).
• Generate reports as required for internal and management use.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in any industry.
• Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
• Must have a Bachelors degree from a recognised Institution.
• Must be completely fluent in written and spoken English.
• Aged between years.
