Description

• Well skilled in triage and general assessment of patients requiring emergency care, cannulation, venepuncture, taking blood, performing ECG.
• Formulating care plan and risk assessment
• Wound management/ two and four layer bandaging and simple dressing, blood sugar monitoring, administration of insulin, management of syringe driver and feeding pumps for both peg and nasogastric tube feeding, palliative care at home.
• Slips and falls prevention
• Care of patient peg feeding and NG feeding
• Patients with peripheral central catheter (PICC line) and Hickman lines.
• Cannulation
• Blood sugar monitoring and insulin administration.
• Wound management (minor wounds, surgical and surgical wounds as well as clip and stitch removal.
• Pressure ulcers management, VAC therapy etc.
• Palliative care.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to lead and manage the shift with care staff team.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation.

• Nursing Diploma
• Nursing Registration

• IELTS (Min 7 in all four components with min 6.5 in writing) or an OET (Occupational English test) certificate with minimum of B in all categories
• Confirmation of passing Part 1 of NMC's Test of Competence
• CBT
