Description

As a Hotel Receptionist, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel's front desk and reception area.

You will be the first point of contact for guests, and your main goal is to provide outstanding customer service and create a positive and welcoming atmosphere.


Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services:
Greet guests upon arrival, check them in, and provide necessary information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Assist guests with luggage, directions, transportation arrangements, and any other assistance they may require.
Maintain guest records and process payments accurately.


Reservation Management:
Ensure accuracy of reservation details, such as room types, rates, and special requests.
Manage room availability, assign rooms to guests, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure timely room readiness.
Update and maintain the hotel's reservation system or software.


Communication and Coordination:
Answer phone calls promptly and handle them professionally, directing calls to the appropriate department or staff member.

Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and management, to address guest needs and resolve any issues that may arise.

Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth shift transitions and update them about any relevant guest information.


Administrative Tasks:
Maintain a clean and organized front desk and reception area.
Manage and distribute guest room keys, keeping accurate records.
Prepare and provide daily reports, including occupancy rates, arrivals, departures, and other relevant data.
Assist with billing, invoicing, and financial transactions as necessary.


Safety and Security:
Adhere to hotel policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and emergency protocols.
Monitor and maintain a secure environment for guests, employees, and hotel property.
Handle confidential guest information with utmost discretion and maintain guest privacy.


Job Types:
Full-time, Regular / Permanent


Salary:
₹9, ₹10,000.00 per month
